Childcare Curriculum Director

Location:  New York, NY
Role Type:  Contract

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced childcare curriculum director to guide the development of Kidzy’s content and coordinate the curriculum process from start to finish.  The director would be expected to:

  • create an developmentally appropriate curriculum outline
  • collaborate with the founders and research team to build out the specifics of Kidzy’s content plan
  • guide the research and production teams in the implementing the curriculum
  • collaborate with teams of parent and expert advisors to refine content and roadmap
  • review feedback from customers and adjust curriculum as appropriate

About You

We’re looking for a director who is passionate about childcare and has specific experience in curriculum development.  Specifically, a director ideally:

  • has an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong interest in working in a startup environment
  • is an organized and effective communicator
  • has previous experience with building a curriculum from the ground up
  • demonstrates extensive knowledge about curriculum development, implementation, and potential roadblocks
  • is willing to coordinate with different Kidzy teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • has experience tailoring solutions and ideas to consumer’s changing needs
Intern

Location:  New York, NY
Role Type:  Contract

About the Role

Kidzy is looking for an ambitious team-player who is excited to join our growing team as an intern! Our interns will have the opportunity to rotate through different departments and projects, depending on specific interests and skills. Interns will have opportunities to:

  • work closely with the founders and the rest of the Kidzy team to get hands-on experience in a quickly growing start-up
  • assist with marketing campaigns, including writing blog posts and other social media materials
  • conduct research for new topics in Kidzy’s curriculum
  • work directly with our production team, including our producer, videographer, and graphics team
  • assist with in-depth development of a childcare curriculum for Kidzy’s growth strategy
  • work on other projects as Kidzy grows

About You

We’re looking for interns that are enthusiastic and eager to learn in the ever-changing startup world. Specifically, we are looking for:

  • a junior or senior in college
  • an energetic and flexible person — someone who is adaptable and eager to help with different types of projects
  • someone with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude
  • a self-starter who can work independently at times
  • someone with great writing and communication skills

Compensation

This internship is for academic credit only.
